Clean House Powder

For regular home cleansing and magical maintenance.

Use in magics intended to cleanse a dwelling of negativity, “heaviness,” unwanted or disruptive energy, staleness, etc. Sprinkle a pinch in the corner of each room to dispel heaviness and clear the air, so to speak. (Accompany by airing out the house for best effect.) Useful for spring cleaning and touch-up jobs throughout the year. Add to floor washes, incenses, or charms for general cleansing and purification of the home. 

I've found that this powder is very effective for minor banishings as well, on the occasions when I find that a wayward spirit has wandered into my home. I also use it for periodic ward maintenance or simple one-step minor cleansings. A spoonful of powder added to a burning bowl makes for a quick and easy cleansing. 

The use of a vacuum cleaner is advised if you dispense the powder on carpeted areas where small feet or paws might be running. The ingredients are not overtly harmful, but Cayenne Pepper can be irritating if it comes into contact with mucous membranes or sensitive skin.

Ingredients: White Oak Bark, Green Sage, Lemon Peel, Cayenne Pepper, Salt, Arrow Root, Blue Vervain, Solomon’s Seal Root
